About
Ganaraska River, Ontario, CA
The Ontario Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry/Lake Ontario Management Unit purchased this fish counter for the Ganaraska River to support the Atlantic Salmon program and provide valuable information on all migratory species in the river. Data provided on this website are as a service to the public and we make no warranty, representation, or guarantee as to the content, accuracy, timeliness, or completeness of any of the data provided to this website. Further, the counter shows raw unclassified data, so after a rain event there may be muddy images for up to two days afterwards, and sometimes MNRF and Partners are working at the fish way (e.g., sampling fish) so there may not be fish moving through that day.
